She operates and practices through a lens of non-judgment and acceptance and seeks awareness, reflection, and feedback in the services she offers. She draws from several therapeutic models, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), compassionate Inquiry (CI), hypnosis and mindfulness and also has specialized training in the treatment of trauma and post-traumatic stress, in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Most recently having completed the Psychedelic Integration Therapy training with the MIND Foundation, a European organization seeking to create a more connected world through evidence-based, safe and legal applications of psychedelic experiences, she now offers breath work as well as preparation and integration of altered states of consciousness.
“Regardless of the mode of therapy, I believe the most important element of this work is the therapeutic relationship that develops between myself and the client. This applies whether my clients are struggling with anxiety, or depression, or are dealing with grief, loss, unresolved trauma, and unhealthy behaviours such as avoidance, rage or substance misuse. The magic happens after the trust is created”.
