Calgary Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist
Christine Knight
Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist
“I have found that most people are much more courageous and resilient than they give themselves credit for. As such, in both my assessment and therapy work, I focus on an individual’s strengths to help them develop skills and find resources for tackling whatever they are struggling with.”
“Do you need help managing your worry about the current state of the world? Are you dealing with grief, loss, or unresolved trauma? Do you have symptoms such as depressed mood, lethargy, tension, poor sleep, pain, panic attacks or unhealthy behaviours such as avoidance, rage or substance misuse?”
“I can help. My approach is holistic and client-centered, and draws from a number of therapeutic models, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and mindfulness. I also have specialized training in the treatment of trauma and post-traumatic stress, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).”
