Allison Eisner, MSW
Registered Social Worker

“Everybody needs help sometimes… and that’s okay! Sometimes we need somewhere to feel heard or to feel safe enough to let our guard down. Sometimes we lose sight of our inherent worth and value as a human being. And sometimes we need an avenue to help us better understand ourselves and the world around us. As we develop our therapeutic relationship, I will walk beside you as you take steps toward the life you want to live. Whether you’re struggling with day-to-day stressors, a significant life event, or symptoms of a mental health diagnosis (just to name a few), I am here for you.

My clinical areas of interest are vast because everyone has a different and interesting story to tell. More specifically though, I am particularly interested in working with individuals (adults/seniors) around topics of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, ADHD, sex and intimacy-related concerns including non-traditional relationships, sexuality/gender identity, and impact of medical issues on mental health. My approach to therapy draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, which may include Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and others. I also plan to integrate my therapy work in the field of Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy in the coming years.

I look forward to connecting!”
