Cristofer Chan, M.C.
Registered Psychologist
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at cristofer@vividpsychology.com.
I am passionate about helping people in living their lives in the best way they can by lowering their distress, healing from the past, and piecing together as best as possible the life they want for themselves.
Do you sometimes feel like emotions are running your life? Do you feel defined by your past experiences, or have trauma that gets in the way of living as your best self?
If you’re looking to make changes, whether it’s with thinking patterns, behaviours, or emotional experiences, or you’re wanting to work on deep rooted problems, I would love to help you on your journey!
I am a Registered Psychologist with a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Royal University. I have also worked for eight years with children and young adults with special needs. I provide therapy using an empathy and validation style balanced with a directive approach. I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), CBT with a DBT-informed lens, schema processing, Prolonged Exposure (PE), and EMDR for trauma and PTSD. I’m also a great fit for anyone who wants to work with a Queer person of colour (POC) or with a person who can provide a social justice lens to our work together. In my own time I love to be social, work on my fitness goals, and travel internationally.
