Petra Lee, M.C.
Registered Provisional Psychologist
Life is a complex journey, and I’m here to help you navigate it. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding. I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal, grow, and thrive. Whether you’re facing the challenges of anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply seeking personal development, I am here to offer support, strategies, and a safe space for exploration to uncover the strength and resilience you have within. Your mental health matters, and I’m here to walk this path with you.
I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist. I have a Master of Counselling from City University and a Bachelor of Arts with a major in psychology and sociology from the University of Alberta. Before I got into counselling, I worked in the social work sector with some of the most diverse and vulnerable populations. I worked with children, adolescents, and families with Child and Family Services involvement, through issues such as addictions, trauma, grief, homelessness, identity concerns, domestic violence, mental health concerns, and parenting concerns. This experience ignited my passion for counselling as I found making a deep sense of connection with my clients meaningful and wished to be part of the difference-making process. I strive to create a safe environment for my clients so they can build their narratives while providing trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and non-judgmental care.
Beyond my professional and educational qualifications, I enjoy baking during winter, and hiking and camping during summer.
